About Us

Preston Properties was formed in 2003 by Jim Bailey and James Sharkey.  Based in Donabate, North County Dublin, Preston has successfully completed over 70 projects in the Dublin, Meath and Kildare areas.

Jim Bailey has worked in the building industry for over 20 years.  A Plasterer by trade he has amassed vast experience in the management of building projects ranging in scale from one off bespoke builds to large multi unit developments.

James Sharkey is a graduate of Civil Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.  Before commencing with Preston, he worked for 15 years in project management of major infrastructure projects both in Ireland and the UK.

We have a dedicated workforce, most of whom have been with Preston for over 5 years and are fully committed to our ethos of providing quality workmanship in a safe, timely, courteous and efficient manner. We have developed close working relationships with a pool of specialist sub-contractors and suppliers whom we know share these qualities.

Preston employs its workforce in full compliance with the Construction Industry Registered Employment Agreement and operates the Construction Industry Federation Pension scheme.   Preston carries fully comprehensive Public Liability and Third Party Insurance.
